Return Policy for Consumers
Consumer (a consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that cannot be primarily attributed to their commercial or self-employed professional activity)
You may request to return parts which meet the criteria outlined below within 14 days. The return period is 14 days from the day:
- You or a third party designated by you, who is not the carrier, took possession of the goods, if you ordered one or more goods as part of a single order, and they are delivered collectively.
- You or a third party designated by you, who is not the carrier, took possession of the last goods, if you ordered multiple goods as part of a single order, and they are delivered separately.
- You or a third party designated by you, who is not the carrier, took possession of the last partial shipment or the last piece, if you ordered goods that are delivered in multiple partial shipments or pieces.
To request a return, you must inform us by means of a clear statement (e.g., a letter sent by mail, or email) of your decision to return this contract. You may use the attached sample return form, but it is not mandatory.
You can fill out and submit the form or another clear statement on our website (https://OCParts.com/) electronically. If you use this option, we will promptly (e.g., via email) send you confirmation of the receipt of such a return.
To meet the return deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication regarding your request to return before the return period expires.
Consequences of Return
If you return a part, we will refund payments received from you, excluding a 25% of part sales price restocking fee, and delivery costs. A refund will be issued no later than 30 days from the day we receive notice and agree to the request to return the part.
We may refuse the refund for goods that are eligible for parcel shipping until we have received the goods back, or if the returned goods are not in “as new condition”.
You must send back or hand over the parcel-shippable goods to us without delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day you notify us of your request to return. The deadline is met if you send the parcel-shippable goods before the period of 14 days has expired.
You are responsible for the direct cost of returning the parcel-shippable goods.
You are liable and may be denied refund for any damage or diminished value of the goods resulting from the handling and/or shipping of goods in return.
Exclusions or Expiration of the Request to Return
The request to return does not apply to carbon fiber parts, or for the delivery of goods that are not prefabricated and are made according to the consumer’s individual choice or decision or that are clearly tailored to the consumer’s personal needs. This applies to all custom-configured products. Returns are also not accepted for orders used or intended for use where not permitted by either State/local authority and/or or per outlined in any OPC or OEM product use disclaimer.
The request to return expires early for contracts for the delivery of sealed goods that are not suitable for return for reasons of health or hygiene and where the seal has been removed after delivery. It also expires for contracts for the delivery of goods that, due to their nature, have been inseparably mixed with other items after delivery.
Please note that we reserve the right to inspect the goods upon receipt and exclude them from a refund if, returning the product would result in significant economic disadvantages to us due to the nature of the product.
