OCP v2 964 LED Tail Lights – These OCP designed modern tail lights perform as good as they look. Designed to a very high spec, the lenses are milled from solid blocks of acrylic for longevity/precision before meticulously finished for perfect fitment. Sets includes all lenses and all housings, as well as 4-dot brake and indicators in each corner unit.
Update: Our v2 is plug-and-play, and now incorporates even higher temperature resilient housings (82C/180F – Deflection, 145C/293F Deformation) which are slightly smaller in the back to allow for some airflow. All dust/water sealed connectors are in place for easy installation.
Note: We HIGHLY recommend keeping all stock heat shielding around the exhaust and rear bumper in place. If you are running aftermarket exhaust/turbos additional heat shielding/air flow is a very very good idea.
OCP parts are used by many top-level builders around the world. We don’t use cheap polycarbonate lenses, only acrylic also known as PMMA for extra longevity and UV resistance. Polycarbonate lenses tend to crack or turn yellow over time even with UV coating.

What years of Porsche 964 do these tail lights fit?
The OCP LED tail light set fits all Porsche 964 models from 1989 to 1994. The kit is plug-and-play into the factory corner wiring harness plugs. Each connector is dust and water sealed and plugs straight into the original harness. As most builders install new modern wire harnesses in their builds, we have updated the bulb sockets used for the non-LED backup lights to modern 1157 sockets and include four (4) new 1157 bulb sockets with the set, and provide a powered lead for the license plate light. This allows you the option of using standard bulbs or LED bulbs for backup lights. The backup light sockets and license plate light are the only part of installation requiring wire splices.
Are these tail lights DOT or E Certified?
No. The 964 tail lights are designed and built to a very high specification. However, they are not DOT or E certified. They are recommended for track cars and show builds.
Why acrylic (PMMA) instead of polycarbonate – does it actually matter?
It matters a lot, especially on a 964 where the tail lights sit close to the exhaust. Polycarbonate lenses – which most aftermarket tail lights use – yellow and crack over time, even when UV coated. OCP uses PMMA acrylic, which is inherently UV stable and more transparent. The v2 housings are also rated to 82°C deflection and 145°C deformation – meaningfully higher than typical plastic housings that start warping around 60°C.
Can I get custom lettering on the center lens?
Yes, custom lettering or a logo on the center lens is available. It’s not a selector on the product page; you need to contact OCP directly at info@OCParts.com to discuss your spec before ordering. This will need to be discussed before purchase rather than after, since customized center lenses are made to order.
I’m running aftermarket exhaust or turbos – is extra heat protection needed?
Yes, and OCP flags this explicitly. The v2 housings are more heat resistant than the original design, but they’re not a substitute for proper heat management. If you’re running a non-stock exhaust system or forced induction, OCP strongly recommends keeping all factory heat shielding around the exhaust and rear bumper in place and adding supplemental heat shielding or improving airflow in the tail area.
What’s included in the set, and how long until it ships?
The set includes all lenses and housings, 4-dot LED brake, running, and indicator units in each corner, running light LEDs in the top of the center lens, a license plate power lead, and four (4) modern 1157 bulb sockets for the backup lights. Everything needed for a complete install is in the box. When not in stock or if ordering a custom center lens, production runs 4-6 weeks from payment.
