OCP v2 911 Rear Window Carbon Fiber Air Intake Kit

The OCP v2 Rear Window Carbon Fiber Air Intake Kit looks the same as v1, but v2 has been reengineered to simplify and improve installation. Our kit fits the 964 and 993 Coupe models.

Air is pulled from both acrylic rear side windows (supplied with the kit) to the engine bay through a single center opening. The supplied CNC’d aluminum joints between the windows and carbon tube include interior wire mesh to keep debris from blowing into the engine bay. The bezels are now available in Polished Aluminum, Matte Silver, or Matte Black finish. (Note: If desired, it is now possible to install and secure the air intake without cutting a hole in the rear shelf. No air will be fed to the engine bay.)

Note – Because of the difference in C-pillar geometry in the Coupe vs Targa models, the air intake will only fit the 964/993 Coupe models.

FAQ — Carbon Fibre Rear Window Air Intake Kit (964 & 993 Coupe)

Does this air intake kit fit the Targa version of the 964 or 993?

No, the OCP carbon fibre rear window air intake fits the 964 Coupe and 993 Coupe only. The Targa has a different C-pillar geometry that makes the kit incompatible. If you’re building a Targa, this will not work. Check the model selector tab before ordering.

Does installing the kit require cutting a hole in the rear shelf?

Cutting the rear shelf is optional, not mandatory. The v2 design lets you install and fully secure the carbon fibre air intake to the metal of the rear shelf without making any cut. In that configuration, the kit is essentially a cosmetic fitment and no air is routed to the engine bay. If you want the functional air feed to the engine, you’ll use the included cutting template to make a single opening through the metal rear shelf. Both options are covered in the installation guide supplied with the kit.

What’s included in the kit?

The OCP Rear Window Air Intake Kit ships with everything needed for a complete install: a carbon fibre tube with internal black debris mesh, left and right clear acrylic PMMA rear side windows, CNC’d aluminum bezels connecting the windows to the tube, a cutting template, and a full installation guide. The aluminum bezels come in your choice of polished aluminum, matte silver, or matte black. You can also choose between matte or gloss clearcoat finish for the carbon tube.

What carbon fibre finish options are available, and which should I choose?

The carbon fibre tube is available in three finishes: raw (no clear coat, for a dry matte look), gloss clearcoat, and matte clearcoat. All three are the same carbon construction – it’s purely an aesthetic choice.

How long does the kit take to arrive after ordering?

Production usually takes 2-3 weeks from order. The kit ships direct from Germany – factor in international shipping time on top of production, typically an additional 4-7 business days depending on your location. What keeps road debris from getting into the engine bay?

Each CNC’d aluminum bezel connecting the acrylic window to the carbon tube includes an interior wire mesh screen. This blocks rocks, leaves, and other debris from being pulled into the engine bay along with the intake air. The mesh is installed at the factory – it’s not a DIY add-on step.
