The RS4 carbon rear door shells replace the entire outer door structure on the Audi B5 with heated vacuum-infused carbon fiber. The B5 rear doors run from the B-pillar to the C-pillar and are the same dimensions on Sedan and Avant body styles – the Avant’s wagon structure begins at the C-pillar, leaving the rear passenger doors unchanged.
Each door shell is produced from OEM RS4 B5 rear door geometry. The hinge positions, window frame, door handle housing, and lock mechanism positions match the OEM layout exactly – your existing hardware transfers without modification. Window glass, regulator, door seals, interior trim, and wiring harness all transfer from the OEM doors.
RS4 carbon rear door shells are one of the higher-commitment exterior carbon upgrades on the B5. The weight saving is significant – OEM steel rear doors on the B5 weigh approximately 18-22 kg each. Combined, the pair saves around 20-25 kg from the rear of the car.
